Casey - 01 - Strained
I Heard It Through the Grapevine - Marvin Gaye
I don’t think I’ll buy this one. I haven’t bought one of his songs since the first episode. But this one was a bit like he was trying to poo on stage. He needs to tone down the Al Borland beard…just a trim more.
Thia - 02 Pretty Awesome
Heatwave - Martha and the Vandella
She had fun and I had fun listening. Much better than last week. Much, much better.
Jacob - 03 - Strained
You’re All I Need to Get By - Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrel
I hate church singing. I hate singers that sing like I’m sitting in a pain in the butt pew. I am not. And he screams and I don’t like it. Not. One. Bit. I like him as a person, a lot. People hugged him. Hugs by random citizens is contagiously gross.
Lauren - 04 - Good Stuff
You Keep Me Hanging On - the Supremes
One of her best performances. Better than the last two weeks. She gave attitude. “Glee” did this song. Quinn sang it. I love the way she sang it. Lauren did good, but Quinn did great.
Stefano - 05 - Pretty Awesome
Hello - Lionel Richie
If it sounds good on Itunes this might be the first one I buy of him. I think he did a good job, and I also think that he’s the one that’ll grow the most (if he stays on) more than anyone else on the show. “Glee” did this song too. Rachel sang it with Jesse. They did good, one of my favorites. But “Glee” wins again.
Haley - 06 - Strained
You Really Got a Hold on Me” - Smokey Robinson
She is trying too hard. So hard that she’s subliminally stating, “Please don’t send me home.” America most likely wasn’t affected by that.
Scotty - 07 - Pretty awesome
For Once in My Life - Stevie Wonder
He does it well…country well.
Pia - 08 - bOring
All In Love Is Fair - Stevie Wonder
I. Fell. Asleep. Three. Times. In. A. Row. Promise.
Paul - 09 - Good Enough (VFTW Pick--SHOCKED!!!)
Tracks of My Tears - Smokey Robinson
He did good. I’m tired from Pia, so he almost woke me. He didn’t move enough to wake me, but it was good enough.
Namia - 10 - FUN!
Dancing In the Streets - Martha Vandella
She did better than last week. She danced in a fun way. I like African dancing. I’m not racist.
James - 11 - FANtastic
Living For the City - Stevie Wonder
He’s just good. Good justly. I never heard this song. Now I have, in a way I like.
No one was terrible. No one was horrible. And because that is the case that means that people will vote as they have already voted and still Haley and Namia will be in the bottom 3 again and I believe Lauren will join them. Who will go home? I think Haley will.
I’m pretty sure it’s a female three.
And then there was a top 10 for the tour
Hate VFTW Corner
Paul McDonald brought out his guitar this week and toned it down a bit to try to make it on the tour. Smart move there, Pauly. But even as he tried to tone it down and give a stellar performance, Paul still started and ended incredibly off key and gave us the vocals and fun we love. So we've gotta get white guy with a guitar on the tour. The other horsemen also did well with Casey's growling at an audience member, Jacob's hug line, and Naima's African dancing. Love you all. So let's get Paul on this tour so that the haters have to listen to him in cities around the country.
So vote at 1-866-436-5709, text VOTE to 5709, and vote on Facebook at americanidol.com. The online voting still works after the phone voting ends, so vote via phone first and then vote online after that ends.
Also, is it just us, or was Paul's performance of "Tracks of My Tears" way better than Adam Lambert's in every way possible?
They don’t like gay singers, that’s why they hate on Adam. VFTW is homophobic bullies. Pass it on. Oh and if you didn’t catch it they are also racist. They hate African dancing. That does go with their theme of being haters, racist and homophobes. Their own holy Trinity. Moreover, there are no haters for Paul as much as there are for other contestants. They need to do better research. They pick Paul every week because of the following he has. The following keeps him on the show, not them. They’ll never learn. When do they pick a minority for their rain of hate? Why always white males? Ah, they do have their Horsemen, but if they were respectful of women, they’d say Horsepersons. They are just a bunch of chauvinist. They be a massive bowl of suck.
Until later on tonight. ha.
