Weekend Box Office Recap

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" absolutely dominated the box office. The seventh installment in the HP world made $125.1 million this weekend, breaking a franchise record. It also became the sixth biggest opening weekend in movie history. Of course, when you show your movie on over NINE THOUSAND screens, its a pretty safe bet that your numbers are going to be huge.

The biggest loser of the weekend goes to "Skyline" as word of mouth kills the movie dead, dropping over 70% from its previous weekend numbers.
