My personal prediction, and I could be very, very wrong, is that Scott Pilgrim is a slow riser. Not to number one, but it won't be dropping dramatically like the two two this weekend will. Word of mouth will work it's magic.

IMDB has an average rating for Expendables and Scott Pilgrim to be 8 and Eat, Pray, Love gets a weak 4. I think Eat, Pray, Love will drop like a rock and Expendables will reach $100 million---but Scott Pilgrim's got staying power. There's no huge star in that film.

Just like Star Trek last year. It open great and it stuck around because people talked about how great it was. Scott Pilgrim didn't open great, but it doesn't have to. It cost $60 million to create, it just has to float and it'll not only make all its money back, it'll make profit from theaters and sales when it's released.

It has a great story and great visuals. It's like Star Trek (500) Days of Summer hybrid.

I'm gushing. :D
