Hawaii Five-O: the Song Remains the Same

When I first heard that they were going to be doing a remake of  the 70's (actually '68 to '80) TV cop show "Hawaii Five-O,"  the first thought that flashed through my head was "Boy, I hope they dont screw up the theme song." The song, written by late composer Morton Stevens, won two Emmys and has become a standard in the repitoire of most every high school and college marching band ever since.

Yesterday at Comic-con (because the entertainment world apparently revolves around the place I call "Geek Mecca" right now) the folks working on the new show released the theme song as a music video and thankfully, the decision was made that the new theme should be the same as the old theme.
