"Wall Street" Sequel Bumped to Sept.

Looks like we're going to have to wait a little while longer to see Gordon Gekko back on the big screen.

According to Variety, Fox has decided to move the release date of Oliver Stone's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" from April 23rd to September 24th.

The reason? "Money Never Sleeps" is better suited for fall than summer," says some unnamed source at Fox. Although I think this is more of a way to give "Iron Man 2" a wide berth and have Stone's film make more money in the fall against three smaller films. In its new scheduled release date, "Money Never Sleeps" goes up against Warner Bros. family flick "Legends of the Guardians," Disney's comedy "You Again" and Focus Features' historical pic "The Eagle of the Ninth."

Like the man says, greed is good.
