
According to TMZ, Haim woke up this morning around 1:30 and collapsed in front of his Mother. She rushed him to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank where he was pronounced dead at 3:30AM.
TMZ states Corey was dealing with "flu-like symptoms" for the past few days. Law enforcement sources say prescription bottles were found in the home, but were not related to his illness.
Haim, probably best known for his partnership with Corey Feldman in the 1987 film "The Lost Boys" had been attempting on a comeback, working on the independent horror flick "American Sunset."
On a positive note, I guess "American Sunset" will now bring in better than expected box office numbers. If the trailer is any indication, it looks like the movie would have been a straight to DVD bargain bin flick.
