Weekend Box Office Recap

31 days in the box office and "Avatar" is still #1. The film fell only %17 from its previous week and cleared $41.3 million. Total worldwide gross so far is $1.6 billion.

The new film "The Book of Eli" wasn't quite strong enough to unseat James Cameron, but still did very good this weekend, coming in second

Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" went to wide release this week and instantly jumped to number 3 on the list. That's an improvement of 44,128.79 % from the previous week.

Meanwhile, the Jackie Chan flick "The Spy Next Door" made a measly $9.7million and came in 6th. Expect this one to drop out of the top ten pretty quickly.
