Brittany Murphy Dead at 32

Actress Brittany Murphy died this morning of cardiac arrest. She was 32.

TMZ reports that A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack. She was taken to Cedars Sinai and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy has been in several films including 8 Mile, Clueless, Sin City, Little Black Book and Riding in Cars with Boys. She was also the voice of Gloria the penguin in the animated film "Happy Feet" and Luanne in the animated series "King of the Hill."

That's very sad. She was just a nice, sweet girl. And very good in '8 Mile' and 'Clueless' and with the voices. Now I know people are just going to assume cocaine or whatever other drugs because it was cardiac arrest at her age. I hope people at least have the tact to wait in regard to the drugs assumption. It's just sad. She was barely 32, still a girl really in my mind and a nice little talent. I suppose she seeemed younger to me because compared to the norm in this town- she was an innocent in many ways. How sad for her family right now. :-/
