Nicolas Cage has dropped out of "the Green Hornet" because he didn't have enough character background for his bad guy role.
Seriously? Its a movie based on a 60's era TV show, based on a comic book. How much character background does it take, Nick?
"I had to have some humanity and to try to give it something where you could understand why the character was the way he was but I don't think there was enough time to develop it." Said Cage. "[I] wasn't interested in just being just a straight-up bad guy who was killing people willy-nilly."
It sure seems like this movie is plagued with problems. From director changes, to casting changes to release delays, is it too much to hope that the movie will be any good?
