Weekend Box Office Recap

Animated gerbils managed to work their magic and beat up Harry Potter this weekend.

"G-Force" cleared $32 million, beating out "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" by about 2 million. Harry fell 61% from its opening numbers.

But that is not the biggest loser of the weekend. Audiences fled from "Bruno" as fast as they could. Sacha Baron Cohen's latest flick dropped 67% to go from 4th to 10th place, a mere 17 days at the box office. Expect this one to be on the bargain shelves at K-Mart shortly.
