Weekend Box Office Recap

Zach Efron beat the living crap out of Miley Cyrus in the box office race this weekend. "17 Again" was the number one film, taking in $24 million on its opening bow.

Last weeks winner "Hannah Montana The Movie" dropped an unsurprising 60% from its open to fall to 4th place, bringing in $12.6 mil.

The new thriller "State of Play" came in second place at $14 mil. and "Crank 2" opened at a depressing 6th place in the box office, bringing in an estimated $6.5 million.

Here are the projected numbers for this weekend.
