Hollywood News: Weekend Box Office Recap

Paul Blart manages to take a second weekend at number one in the box office, while
"Underworld" under performs. The werewolf/vampire flick made less in its opening bow than the two previous underworld films.

Thanks to all the awards it's been winning this season, "Slumdog Millionaire" actually moved up 80%, to go from 10th to 5th place. Gold-laden hype helped to boost the number and clear $10.5 million in its 75th day at the box office.

And while one film was climbing, one film dropped almost off the charts. "Notorious" Fox Searchlight's homage to rapper Biggie Smalls, PLUMMETED 72% down the charts from 4th last week to 10th this week.
