"Ghost Rider" Sequel Planned

The website "Bloody Disgusting" reports that Columbia Pictures has started gearing up for a sequel to the Nicholas Cage movie "Ghost Rider."

Some would argue that the 2007 comic book adaptation was pretty bad. In fact, most everyone would agree that the film was bad. Its currently hovering at 28% at Rotten Tomatoes.

But because the movie actually made money at the box office - $237 million worldwide and $111 million in DVD sales from a production budget of $120 million - naturally, Hollywood is tempting fate and firing up the flaming skull one more time. Nick Cage will return as stuntman Johnny Blaze who sells his soul to fight evil or something.

Never let terrible acting and piss-poor scriptwriting get in the way of making a movie.
