Hollywood News: Weekend Box Office Recap

It was another slow weekend at the box office with three of the four new films released making less than $10 million. Samuel L. Jackson's "Lakeview Terrace" took the top spot taking in $15.6 million. Last week's winner, the Cohen brothers comedy "Burn After Reading" dropped 40% to land in second place.

The biggest loser overall was Nicholas Cage's flick "Bangkok Dangerous." The action remake fell 68% and dropped from 8th to land out of the top ten at 16th place.

However, with 66 days at the box office, "The Dark Knight" managed what will probably be its last week in the top ten. To date domestically, the Batman film has grossed $521,925,000.
