In the Batman canon, Harvey Dent is a district attourny from Gotham City and a close friend of Batman. After a criminal splashed acid onto half of his face, Dent went insane and like all good comics became the arch-nemesis of Batman under the crime boss name "Two Face"
In the upcoming film "The Dark Knight" Aaron Eckhart plays Dent. I know that in interviews Eckhart emphasized that the look of Two Face is not what people would expect and in fact is much worse:
"I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get to sick to your stomach. Being the guy under the make-up was a lot of fun for me. I think seeing him is like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid."
For a short time, The Movie Blog had a picture of Two Face up, showing the effective makeup job, but now appears to have taken it down.
However, there is no way Warner Bros is going to be able to put the genie back into the bottle. So if you are interested in seeing what Two Face looks like from the left side, the image is after the jump.
There you go. Pretty gruesome and detailed. Clearly we have moved beyond the comic book makeup styles seen in the other Batman films. "The Dark Knight" is definitely setting itself apart visually.
