Weekend Box Office Recap

Another fairly slow weekend at the box office as "21" managed to hold on to the number one spot for the second weekend in a row. George Clooney's "Leatherheads" struggled to take second place, "Nim's Island" took third and "The Ruins" had the worst open of all three new releases this week, opening at 5th place and clearing $7.8 mil.

The biggest drop for any film in the top 10 was "Meet the Browns" falling 53% in its 17th day at the box office.

Meanwhile, "Stop Loss" fell out of the top ten a mere 10 days at the box office and Roland Emmerich's "10,000 B.C." just barely held on to the last spot. It should thankfully be extinct by next weekend.

Here's the top ten for this weekend.
