See "Iron Man" Early

Paramount has confirmed that they will release "Iron Man" earlier in select cities across the US. This means that if the marketing juggernaut has worked the way they want, fans will be lining up in certian areas to see the film on May 1st at 8:00pm. That's four whole hours before anyone else in the US can see it when it is officially released on May 2.

Wow. Golly. Gosh.

No explanation for this has been given, other than the obvious word of mouth blitz that this might give the movie.

Paramount hasn't yet said which cities will get the chance to see it early, but as soon as its reported, we'll post it here.

Stay tuned.

That is interesting. Wondering why the 4 hours will make a difference. I for one will be seeing it mid-day on May 2 -- been jonesing about it since I started seeing articles and footage months ago. So next week we'll see if it lives up to the hype. :)
