New New Kids?

Sorry to harsh your Sunday morning mellow, but I just read Wot Daily and my own easy Sunday morning all turned to crap, so I figured I would share this discomfort with the rest of you.

I had to check with my other sources to find out if this is true and sadly, it is:

New Kids on the Block are planning a comeback, so sayeth a source at People Magazine.

I worked with NKOTB when they were performing at amusement parks. I spent the better part of one night trying to get Donnie's girlfriend into the park. I pulled strings, I bribed executives, I sat on the phone for hours.

And what did I get for my efforts? The privilege of sweeping up the piles of underwear, teddy bears and love notes that the teenage girls threw onto the stage.

Still, it will be interesting to see these guys (now approaching 40) prance about on stage again.

Everything old is new again.

Yes, it does appear to be true. But on the bright side this gives me hope for a Banarama reunion!

Great blog BTW.

I'm a flurry of mixed emotions over this news. I was a former NKOTB groupie, "clean" for well over ten years now. Still, that doesn't mean I don't still have a soft spot in my heart for little Joey Mcintyre.

Just reading the name NKOTB brought me back to the past and for the moment I felt like a teenager again (and honestly it felt good being young again) :)
I hope their song will be as good as before.

Oh gawd, this brings back memories. I think I was about 10 or 11 when they were really popular. Thank goodness I was never a NKOTB groupie.

I wasnt a fan of them, but I do have to say that Donny was a pretty cool guy to chat with. Glad to see that he got some good acting roles. Not really sure why he would want to revisit his past like this.

I was a young girl at the perfect age to love NKOTB. And I still hated their music hehe.
