"Narnia" fans will have to wait an extra year to see the third film in the fantasy franchise because of a delay in the start of production.
The second film "Cronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" is still scheduled for a May 2008 release. It was originally set for December of this year, but was bumped due to scheduling with the production company and another film.
And now the third film -"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is being delayed for what the producers say is "the challenging schedules for our young actors,"but I can't help but think that it has more to do with the upcoming SAG/DGA/WGA strike than the scheduling of the cast.
Either that, or there really is scheduling problems that make the production company Walden Media look completely incompetent.
