Weekend Boxoffice Recap

A pretty predictable and remarkably slow weekend for the box office this time around as the big three held on to their respective spots in the top ten, while the newcomers didn't make that much of an impact on moviegoers. "Superbad" dropped 45% from opening weekend, slightly more than the 30% expected drop, but still held on to the number one spot while "Bourne Ultimatum" and "Rush Hour 3" swapped positions. (hehe, that almost sounded dirty)

Here's the top 10 from this weekend:

1 Superbad $18,000,000
2 The Bourne Ultimatum $12,361,440
3 Rush Hour 3 $12,250,000
4 Mr. Bean's Holiday $10,121,170
5 War $10,000,000
6 The Nanny Diaries $7,811,000
7 The Simpsons Movie $4,400,000
8 Stardust $3,954,000
9 Hairspray $3,450,000
10 The Invasion $3,140,000
