12 Million Viewers Say in Unison: "Huh?"

According to Nielsen Media Research - which you may or may not agree with - nearly 12 million people tuned in Sunday night to watch the non-ending of the Sopranos. According to Variety, this is the fourth highest number since the series premiered on HBO in January 1999.

Then, after being confused by David Chase's fucked-up sense of closure, nearly 70% of the audience was had their brains further yanked sideways by "John From Cincinnati" and bailed out.

I was one of them. I didn't get it. To me, the story was just strange. And strange not in a David Lynch way, but more in a "look at me, I'm a nut job" kind of way. I'm hoping its going to get better, but I may end up not watching this show at all.
