Shrek doesn’t like to be king. So he has to go and find Fiona’s cousin, Artie, and convince him to come back and be king. While back in Far, Far, Away Prince Charming is taking over because he believes himself to be the rightful king. Fiona gets the women to toughin’ up so that they can save the day.

I like all the Shrek movies because Shrek is such a great character. I like Shrek the Third because of all the funny characters are back like Puss and Boots, Donkey, Shrek, The Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio, Fiona and then the new ones such as Artie who is played by Justin Timberlake. They have great moments in the movie. I really like the part where Shrek says, “No he didn’t” cause it reminds me of a commercial for Vault (an energy drink) and I love it. I say it all the time. It’s lame and silly but I find it funny.

It has all the charm that the first two have. I laughed. I enjoyed the moral it teaches of how people should be themselves even if they are made fun of. I like when there is some sort of substance to a movie outside of just being entertaining.

What I did not like is that they showed almost all of the Gingerbread Man’s scenes in the trailers. I really dislike when they do that to a movie. I really wish I had a chance to show them how to really make a trailer because I know I could make one that would get people to go to the movies and see it. I mean they show endings to some movies in the trailer…what’s that about?

I don’t own any of the movies. I don’t plan on totally going on and on about this movie either. I’m keeping it short because people are going to see this movie no matter what is said about it and that is how it should be because I think it’s worth it. I just won’t be owning it. It’s not a movie that I’d own. If someone gives it to me as a gift…sure.

Shrek the Third is worth the money to see it. Go out and see it and enjoy it especially if you like the first two. Donkey and Puss and Boots do steal the show yet again. But it’s just another movie about Shrek and who doesn’t like Shrek? He’s so loveable.
