Weekend Box Office Recap - 1/5/07

Now that the holiday season is over, the box office has returned to a somewhat normal state. Ben Stiller's flick tops the charts for the third weekend in a row, while Sylvester Stallone's septuagenarian pugilistic opus - despite word of mouth that it didn't suck nearly as hard as we all expected - never got higher than 3rd in the totals.

Here are the numbers for this past weekend. As always, the links take you to Rottentomatoes to see their individual scores.

1. Night at the Museum - $24 Million
2. The Pursuit of Happyness - $13M
3. Children of Men - $10.2M
4. Freedom Writers - $9.7M
5. Dreamgirls - $8.8M
6. Happily N'ever After - $6.8
7. Charlotte's Web - $6.6M
8. The Good Shepherd - $6.5M
9. Rocky Balboa - $6.3M
10 We Are Marshall - $5.1M
