Stiller Gets Nod on Tropic Thunder

According to Production Weekly, Ben Stiller is finally getting a chance to direct and star in "Tropic Thunder" - a project he's been toying with for almost 20 years.
The script Stiller wrote with Etan Cohen (”Madagascar 2 “) and Justin Theroux, is about the making of a big-budget war movie where everything that can go wrong does, and where the actors end up becoming the commandos they are playing.
The film is being produced through Dreamworks and principal photography is scheduled in July. We'll start digging and see what we can come up with. Stay tuned.
