TV Review: Grey's Anatomy

Can someone please tell me what they like about "Grey's Anatomy"? Because seriously, I just don't get it.

I've watched most of the previous season and have watched vicariously through my wife as she is glued to screen every Thursday. I've given it every opportunity to present a witty, intelligent comedy/drama and I've come to the conclusion that the show is more annoying than anything else. The characters stay the same, keep doing incredibly stupid things, and the show grows more and more sappy. I will admit that the show is a lot like real life - where people refuse to change and continue to do really stupid things to fuck up their lives - but c'mon folks! Get creative! show me something I cant see coming from a mile away.

Am I the only one that wants to bitch slap the next incarnation of Alley McBeal for continuing down the landmined-path of love with that asshole guy from that 80's movie "Loverboy" when she's got Chris O'Donnell sheepishly waiting in the wings? I'm not gay, but who would you rather be with, a delivery boy, or Robin?

And the whole falling-in-love-with-a-tragically-doomed-patient thing from last season couldn't have been more predictable if they'd worn Greek tragedy masks.

All of the characters need to lose their medical licenses, be brought up on criminal charges and the series should end.

However, I will admit though that George's girlfriend is pretty hot, in a Betty Paige sort of way.
